Welcome to Dannemora New York. Our small village is located in central Clinton County which is also part of the northern Adirondack Park. Dannemora was incorporated as a village in 1901 growing up around the Clinton Correctional Facility, which happens to be the largest prison in the state.
Dannemora is a great place to live in and to raise a family. With only a few thousand residents, our village provides a safe and friendly atmosphere and we welcome all to our neighborhood. The forests, mountains, and lakes surrounding our community provide great scenery and excellent hiking trails. We are also only a couple of hours away from Montreal and only a half hour away from Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain so come see what Dannemora and our region has to offer!
