Neighborhood Watch
Background
The neighborhood watch program was formed in the Village of Dannemora by concerned residents and the Clinton County Sheriff's Department. The program was formed to reduce criminal mischief, vandalism, and home burglaries in our village. Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Village Office.
What will it do for our neighborhood
- Form a connection with the area police
- Lessoning of fear of crime in the neighborhood
- Connection among community members
- Make it tough for burglaries to occur in our village
What we can do
- Citizen patrols
- Provide safe houses for teens
- Beautification projects
