Baseball and Softball

Chazy Lake Beach

Lifeguards are on duty Monday - Sunday from 11 AM until 7 PM during the summer months.

Basketball

Open Gym for basketball Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 PM at the Dannemora Elementary Gym for ages 8-18 years hosted by the Village of Dannemora Youth Commission and led by Mike Recore. Gym-time for infants to 6 years for parents, caregivers, and children at the Dannemora Elementary Gym Thursdays 10:00-12:00 Feb 18th thru May 13th. There will be bike riding, games, and time to run and play. Hosted by Family Connections and run by Amy Aubrey. Any questions call 561-4999.

LaFontain Park (Currently closed for renovations)

The YC maintains and offers various activities throughout the summer months at our Village Park located on Smith Street. Families are welcome and encouraged to enjoy usage of this park.

Skating Rink

The YC maintains and offers various activities throughout the winter months at our Village Skating Rink located on Cook Street. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate in free skating or hockey skating during the times posted at the rink. Ice Rink hours are Monday - Friday 4 to 8 PM; Saturday and Sunday Noon to 8 PM.

Halloween Dance

Our annual Halloween Dance is offered every October. This year the event was held at Steve Coulon's old Dannemora High School.
