The Dannemora Youth Commission during the summer sponsors a T-ball, baseball, and softball program at our local parks. We also offer a summer music instruction program. During the fall we offer soccer and we provide an Annual Halloween Party & Dance for various age groups. During the winter months we offer a basketball program and open an ice rink for open skating and hockey. We also offer other activities such as bowling at local bowling alleys and open skate at Lake City Skate. Our programs are free to all participants.
The Youth Commission would like to hear from teens (13-18), and their parents, in Dannemora. What would you like to have available in our area? What would you attend? Dances? Game nights? Would any parents be willing to volunteer to run these events? Please call Kristina at 492-2606 or attend a Youth Commission meeting that is held every 3rd Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Village office.
